چکیده

Reniform nematode, Rotylenchulus reniformis received greater attention due to its polyphagous nature, cosmopolitan distribution and adaptability different agro-ecological condition. It causes great losses pulses including Mungbean (Singh, 2015). Therefore, an experiment was carried out test the efficacy of botanicals manage reniform nematode infecting summer mungbean. Bioagents i.e. Metarhizium anisopliae Beauveria bassiana were used at 5%, 10% 15% as seed treatment. Trichoderma viride kept standard check. An untreated check also maintained compare experimental findings. The conducted in completely randomized design with five replications. Results revealed that 15 % w/w treatment significantly improve plant growth parameters (44.81–77.21%) mungbean followed by (38.44-70.88%) (34.13–62.50%) compared These treatments reduced infestation R. on tune 36.04-47.43%.

The Expressed Parasitism Genes in the Reniform Nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis)

The reniform nematode (RN), Rotylenchulus reniformis, is an agriculturally important pest with a broad host range that results in a large economic impact in tropical, subtropical and in warm temperate zones. In an initial effort to understand the transcriptome and gene expression in RN, we present EST results that reveal numerous putative parasitism-related genes some of which play roles in pla...

Seed Yield of Mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek) in relation to Growth and Developmental Aspects

Growth parameters such as leaf area (LA), total dry mass (TDM) production, crop growth rate (CGR), relative growth rate (RGR), and net assimilation rate (NAR) were compared in six varieties of mungbean under subtropical condition (24°8' N 90°0' E) to identify limiting growth characters for the efficient application of physiology breeding for higher yields. Results revealed that a relatively sma...

Performance of Summer Mungbean (Vigna radiata L.) under Different Sowing Time at Farmers’ Field

The predominance of rice-wheat cropping system in Punjab has resulted in number of ecological problems in the state such as depletion of underground water table, deterioration of soil health by adversely affecting the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil (Kumar et al., 2016). However, for over a decade, ricewheat cropping system yields in high productivity zones have either ...

Transcriptome Analysis of Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) Genotypes That Are Susceptible, Resistant, and Hypersensitive to Reniform Nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis)

Reniform nematode is a semi-endoparasitic nematode species causing significant yield loss in numerous crops, including cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.). An RNA-sequencing analysis was conducted to measure transcript abundance in reniform nematode susceptible (DP90 & SG747), resistant (BARBREN-713), and hypersensitive (LONREN-1) genotypes of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) with and without reniform...
